EVM Wallet is a self-custody wallet that runs entirely in your browser. There is no account to sign up for, no server that knows who you are, and no analytics or tracking pixels on this site.
What stays on your device
- Your seed phrase or imported private key, encrypted with your password and stored in browser localStorage.
- Derived public addresses and the chain you last selected.
- Any custom token contracts you add.
None of this is ever transmitted to us. We don't run a backend.
What leaves your browser
To show balances and broadcast transactions, your browser talks directly to public RPC endpoints for Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, and Base (e.g. publicnode.com, llamarpc.com, cloudflare-eth.com, ankr.com, binance.org, base.org). Those providers can see your IP address and the addresses you query. They cannot see your seed or private key.
Ledger hardware
When you connect a Ledger, communication happens over WebHID directly between your browser and the USB device. The seed never leaves the Ledger. We only see the public account xpub you explicitly approve on-device.
Cookies & tracking
None. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts beyond the public RPC calls above.
Data loss
If you clear browser storage, lose your password, or uninstall your browser without backing up your seed phrase, your funds are unrecoverable. We cannot help — we have no copy of anything.
